有時候，我們以為是美國老歌的歌，很有可能是世界上任何一個民族的傳統歌謠喔！不可能發生這種事嗎？有，而且馬上有例子，就是電影"屋頂上的提琴手"中，女主角父母親在婚禮上對唱的這首日出日落Sunrise, Sunset。

"屋頂上的提琴手"描述流亡於烏克蘭南邊小村莊的猶太移民故事。原本女主角依媒妁之言被要求嫁給村莊中富有的農夫，後來女主角選擇自由戀愛的對象並遭到父親強烈反對，經過反覆思考及一番掙扎後答應女主角的請求，並在兩人婚禮上與妻子對唱這首日出日落Sunrise, Sunset，歌詞中充份流露了父母親對子女的親情及猶太民族的智慧。

第一次聽到日出日落Sunrise, Sunset時，總以為它是美國老歌；等到自己有機會看了"屋頂上的提琴手"，才知道箇中原委。學這首舞時舞伴是阿強，我不太記舞序，總是讓阿強把我帶過來又帶過去；中間副歌的地方，兩人的手要牽好，女生手下轉兩圈後，兩人的手會變成相牽的窗戶狀，逆轉兩圈後又解開。光這個副歌的動作就可以搞死一堆人了，我們都戲稱這個動作叫做"捲麻花"….除此之外，音樂慢慢的，應該都能跟得上。接下來請點連結至YouTube，欣賞原汁原位的日出日落Sunrise, Sunset完整版吧！
